Tips for the Trade

Problem: Auto image rotation (in EXIF), common in digital cameras today, will display rotation in Photoshop as well, but the image will not be rotated in layout applications like Quark 6.5 that don't honor rotation stored in EXIF data.
Solution: Resave the image in Photoshop before importing into layout application or turn image rotation off in camera before using.
